I could hardly wait to get Thanksgiving over with and move on to Christmas and now, we are that much closer! Every holiday in our home is a tradition, everything from Valentines dinner to Christmas. But Christmas is a big one. We all get together as a family (with all six little ones in tow) and go pick out the "Family tree" that goes in my parents living room. My mom makes THE BEST apple cider and we mosey around the lot, hands freezing with near snotsicles frozen in our noses( c'mon, it happens to you too!) in search of the perfect tree! We go from lot to lot if we have to. At the end of the night we usually end up with a pretty cool tree. Then, when the tree is put up and the lights are strung on, we hang our ornaments one by one. Some of these are OUR baby's 1st Christmas ornaments from the 80's! Some of them are paper that we colored in first grade! Great memories, can't wait!
